A little about me.

My beginnings in photography started in 2007 when the first iPhone was released; I would take photos of clouds, the sun, my dog, my feet, and anything else that really caught my eye. As time went on, I wanted to start documenting my trips to car shows and races and eventually bought my first DSLR, a Canon T1i and also started a simple blog where I would post my photos. With winters bringing an end to the car scene, I had nothing to shoot and thus began my transition into "Street photography/Urban photography".

As the years went by, my Canon T1i was replaced by a Canon 7D and I also began working with 35mm film cameras and then medium format film cameras, later my 7D was again replaced by a Canon 5D mkiii. I began to fall in love not only with photography, but also the tools used to capture the  images. Owning one camera lead to owning two, which became three cameras, eventually reaching my twenty plus camera collection that I have today.

What started off as taking photos on an iPhone, has become something that develops more and more as each day passes. Since that first iPhone, I've learned so much and yet, am still learning. Since that first iPhone, I've taken well over one hundred thousand photos (the majority of which nobody will ever see). Since that first iPhone I've worked on my skills shooting beach and seascapes, portraits, travel, fashion, and anything that catches my eye. What started off as just an iPhone has lead me to this, Minimal47. What lies ahead, I don't know, but I'll be sure to take a photo of it.
